Website Features

In order to meet the requirements of consultants, specifiers and end users this site offers both component data and full assembly information.

At component level users can select any fixing category (see product tab on left of home page) and then access information on each individual Lindapter fixing. Visitors can view images, download pdf data sheets and if logged on, download component drawing files which are available in both dwg (AutoCAD standard) and IGS (compatible with most 3D packages).

For users who are not familiar with Lindapter components or just wish to view typical steelwork connections we have also provided the "Assembly Selector".
By following a few simple steps you can choose the sections you wish to secure together and then view the most common arrangements. It is also possible at this point to view a 3D model of the arrangements however this does require an Active X plug-in (you will be asked to install this when you select the 3D button).

The "Assembly Selector" also allows you to enter your specific application details, forward it direct to the support team at Lindapter and request a quotation or further technical assistance.

EXAMPLE :

Click on the Assembly Selector Button

Choose the two types of sections you wish to secure together then click on view assemblies. For this example we have chosen  I Beam to Channel.

You will then be given a choice of arrangements which contain I Beams & Channels. Select the one which matches your application. For this example we have selected GC006-1.

The next page will then give you an overview of the assembly and allow you to view various images of the assembly from different angles. The thumbnail bar allows you to scroll through the images, clicking on the main image will enlarge it.

If required you can also view a 3D model of the full assembly which you can then rotate, pan, zoom in, hide components or animate. Due to the size of the files it may take 30 to 60 seconds to load when using for the first time.

Note : This feature requires the user to install an Active X plug-in for Solidworks.

If this arrangement matches your application you can then input your section sizes, loading conditions, any other relevant information and forward it direct to the Lindapter support team. You can request a quotation or further technical assistance (a member of the technical support team will contact you to discuss the application in detail).

Note: Users must be logged in to use this feature.
